About Me
My fascination with music began in childhood, where I was introduced to classic rock by my parents and dipped my toes into rap by exploring the iTunes Charts. This interest drove me to participate in a high school Music Tech class, where I learned about electronic dance music creation using Logic Pro, a formative experience that ignited my passion for sound design. I further delved into this realm through a beat making class, where I gained skills in layering instruments and making ringtones. Following these experiences, I became immersed in learning the tools of the sound design trade. For example, I gained expertise in DAWs such as Logic Pro 9, VSTs including Ultrabeat, FM8, and Serum, as well as concepts such as compression, equalization, and automation.
My strong interest in sound design led me to study Video Game Sound Design in college. While working towards my degree, I strengthened and expanded my affinity for sound and began to apply my skills in professional settings, such as through my roles at Comma Music and Flightless Bird Creative. My resume includes more information on my professional experiences in this field, as well as my skills and qualifications. |
